Analyzer Performance Diagnosis
Performed failure analysis of a vendor installed NIR analyzer application installed at a food/beverage company. Analysis extended to hardware operation and calibration performance. Resulted in determining cause of performance failures and recommendations for corrective action.
Analyzer Performance Evaluation and Diagnosis
Evaluated a user-developed multi-location analyzer application, on a continuous production line, to determine cause of poor measurement performance. Sampling and analysis methodology were shown to be the likely cause of calibration failures. Reconfiguration and analysis recommendations directed methodology changes.
Scale-up Failure Analysis
Diagnosed the cause of failure when a feasiblity test chemometric method was implemented more extensively. Existing data were re-analyzed to provide a proper proof of concept. Experimental designs were developed for the production runs needed for analyzer calibration.
